May 18th, 2005 We find out I'm pregnant with you!
June 7th, 2005 I have my first doctors appt. We find out I am around 7 wks along. We got your first ultrasound picture and saw your precious little heart beating for the first time. What a sight!
June 14th, 2005 Saw your heartbeat again with another ultrasound. I'm praying for you my love.
June 21st, 2005 I have another check-up and I get to hear the sweetest sound on earth...I get to hear your heart beat for the first time today.
July 5th, 2005 Had an ultrasound again and your due date is set for January 17th, 2006 Yeah...I'm so very excited!
July 19th, 2005 I got another ultrasound and baby I saw you moving around! I was so happy to see you just playing around in there, getting bigger too!
August 4th, 2005 Daddy gets to see you for the first time today, he took off work for awhile to come to the appointment with me. You were face down kicking me. How cute!
August 15th, 2005 I have my first appointment with the maternal fetal specialist. He's a really good doctor and I like him a lot! Your Daddy was with me as well, because I was too nervous to go by myself! We also find out today that you my Angel are a BOY! Your daddy spotted it right away and the doctor confirmed it! I was like whoa...how did he know that! They had to point it out to me! Your daddy has had a permanet grin ever since! You measured perfectly and everything looks wonderful!
August 25th, 2005 I see your precious face on the ultrasound this time. It's almost like you were smiling at me!
September 8th, 2005 I didn't get an ultrasound this time, but I did get to hear your wonderful heart beating! We discussed delivering you at 37 wks. Which would now make your official date to be due...December 29, 2005. Wow you are gonna be here before the new year! Yeah! I can't wait!
September 12th, 2005 The maternal fetal specialist says you are growing perfectly. You measured around 1 lb and 2 ozs! I also had an a fetal echocardiogram done on you today. This doctor was an absolute sweetheart and told me that your heart was PERFECTLY HEALTHY! It was like music to my ear to hear that you had a nice strong heart!
September 22nd, 2005 I heard your heartbeat but no ultrasound...it's ok though, I know you are alright!
October 6th, 2005 Your heart was beating nice and strong today at 144 bpm!
October 10th, 2005 Appt. with Maternal Fetal Specialist...You looked so cute chewing on your fingers and you had the hiccups too! You've hit the 2 pound mark! (26wks along)
October 20th, 2005 Got to hear your heart beat and the doctor told me your head was down.
October 24th, 2005 Appt. with Maternal Fetal Specialist...We start 2 a week appts. with the Maternal Fetal Specialist. They are called B.P.P.'s. ( Bio Physical Profiles). They will do NST's (Non stress tests) as well as monitoring your heart and growth.
October 27th, 2005 BPP...looked nice and active.
October 31st, 2005 BPP...this one took an hour...my sugars ended up going low so I had to drink some juice and eat a small snack. Everything checked out fine after that!
November 3rd, 2005 BPP...Everything looked great, you were hiding your face from me this time! You will get measured at the next appt. Can't wait to hear how much you've grown!
November 7th, 2005 BPP You are about 3 1/2 lbs and look good! You were making your breathing movements too!
November 8th, 2005 Mommy got checked for dialation today...nothing...which is good because we have a few more weeks to go little one!
November 10th, 2005 BPP Got to see you "breathing" again but you weren't too active today...guess you were resting!
November 14th, 2005 BPP You are "breathing" and very active today...doctor tells me everything looks great and that you breech now!
November 17th, 2005 BPP You are still breech, my silly little monkey...but yout you look great!
November 21st, 2005 You were nice and active...eveything going smoothly! Am supposed to come in for a BPP on Thursday which is also Thanksgiving. They will be closed, but doctor tells me not to worry because I'll be fine and that he'll see me next Monday.
(Little did we know that would be our last appointment together).
November 24th, 2005 I wake up feeling horrible and sick. I am taken to the E.R. and admitted. Things go from bad to worse. I end up getting sicker.
November 25th, 2005 I don't remember this day at all...I guess I was out of it from being so sick.
November 26, 2005 Hendryx Austyn Ragle is born today. Delivered at a different hospital due to the negligence of the doctors that were on call at the hospital I started at when this nightmare began. The doctors and nurses at this hospital were awesome and they saved me, if only I were there sooner, maybe they could have saved Hendryx. I'm so very blessed to have gotten to hold you and kiss you and lay my eyes upon your precious face. I'm very thankful I got to give you and hug and kiss goodbye.
